PRELIMINARY SURVEY

Rank the Issues for 2022

Important IssuesWe’re excited to have successfully concluded our work on infrastructure, the third issue that our members chose to work on. With our growing membership and influence in Congress, we’re excited to now be preparing to choose our issue for 2022. We’re currently talking with Members of Congress to help us develop our list of the most promising issues for bipartisan action for you to rate. We’d also like to get early input into the list from you. We’ll take your input and the input from Congress to develop the final list of issues for all members to rate. We’ll then pick the issue with the highest rating.

Below is a preliminary survey of which broad policy areas you think are most promising for us to work on. There is also an opportunity for you to nominate issues, not on the list.

Our aim is to identify and champion solutions that attract wide support across our political divides. In this effort, we want to consider the most promising issue areas. By promising, we mean topics in which there are solutions that are both achievable and meaningful.

  • Achievable – Proposals where there is a decent chance that Congress will pass it because there is already meaningful bipartisan support. They are the kind of proposals that one can imagine that demonstrating broad, bipartisan support among everyday Americans might make the difference in getting it passed.
  • Meaningful – Proposals that would make a real difference in people’s lives if they passed.

As you judge how promising each topic below is, please keep in mind our definition that the most promising ideas are those that are the best combination of meaningful and achievable.

Thank you for your input into the final list of issues that our members will rate to choose our next issue.

Issues List

Our list includes 12 Issue Areas.  We ask that you rate no more than 3 as “Strongly Support”.
