Finding Common Ground in American Politics

A live Zoom conversation about what's driving polarization — and what we can do about it.

Three live sessions to choose from:

  • Tue, Mar 17 — 12:00 PM ET
  • Thu, Mar 19 — 6:00 PM ET
  • Sat, Mar 21 — 11:00 AM ET

Hello Friends —

Please join me in a webinar and podcast.

Our politics feel broken. Angrier. Louder. Less productive.

But what if there’s practical evidence that Americans — and Congress — agree more than we think we do? And that those shared priorities — like immigration, healthcare reform, government efficiency, and housing affordability — can actually become law?

Neither party has a monopoly on good ideas. Borrowing from both sides is how progress happens.

I’m hosting a conversation with Keith Allred — a dear friend, founder of CommonSense American, and former national political mediator and civic reform leader. In a promising sign, Congress is increasingly asking Keith and CommonSense American to help facilitate constructive bipartisan dialogue. My family is donating $10,000 to help expand Keith’s team and meet this ask.

In our conversation, we will explore:

  • Where bipartisan agreement actually exists
  • A practical, citizen-driven model that’s already working
  • What busy people like us can realistically do to help
