National Members' Meeting on March 13th

Watching the news, it might feel like working for bipartisan solutions is deluded. But in the last month, CommonSense American’s work has become even more potent. In this video, I share why our meetings with more than 30 congressional offices so far this year have moved us into the center of American policymaking.

In fact, in just the next several weeks you’ll have two exceptional opportunities to help bring common sense to Washington.

National Members’ Meeting

On March 13 at 8 pm ET/5 pm PT, we’ll gather on Zoom to discuss the latest on these developments and get your guidance on how to make the most of our exciting new opportunities.

Picking our 2025 Issue

Soon after our members’ meeting, we’ll email the link for you to weigh in on the issue we should work on this year.

We’re asking dozens of offices what they see as the most meaningful issues ripe for bipartisan action this year. After we’re done with those meetings, we’ll share the list of most promising issues and ask you to rate each.

We’re sharing this now because we want you to be ready to weigh in as soon as the survey is ready. The members of Congress at the fulcrum of American policymaking are literally waiting to hear from you.

Our proposal to a Senate and a House bipartisan group that they and we try to pick the same issue to work on has been rapidly building momentum. Now, they’re waiting to hear your views to help determine what that issue should be.

Workforce Pell

Key Republicans and Democrats in Congress continue to be optimistic that Workforce Pell legislation consistent with our members’ views will pass this year. We’re now up to 326 congressional offices that we’ve briefed on our results and briefing more every week. Thanks again for weighing in on this topic. Your voice continues to be heard in the halls of Congress.

I take heart that during these extraordinarily intense times, our work together has become more relevant than ever.
