Is a bipartisan approach to infrastructure

SMART or a SELL OUT ?

America Talks Infrastructure brings people together to speed up problem-solving in America.

On Monday, September 20th, 2021 from 8:00 PM EDT/5:00 PM PDT – 9:30 PM EDT/6:30 PM PDT, Americans from across the political spectrum will meet for small group conversations to discuss the impact of infrastructure on our communities and explore what you think our representatives in government should do about it. The results of these conversations will be shared with Congress. This is a collaborative effort with other bridging rganizations that Common Sense American suggested and has helped lead. As Common Sense American members, many of you have weighed in on infrastructure issues through our Infrastructure Brief. This is a chance for you to discuss it with other Americans.

How it Works

1

Answer

a few simple questions in our registration form. Tell us a bit about yourself. We'll match you with a small group of people, some who have answered the questions differently from you.
2

Join

the event. Follow the link you’ll receive in your email (after you registered) to join the virtual event.
3

Get matched

during the event with a small group of people (5 to 6 others) with differing political opinions, of different ages, and from different places in the country. During the event, you will be automatically matched with some who answered the questions differently than you.
4

Have a conversation

with the group - the results of which will be shared with Congress. You and your match group will engage together via video call during the event. We will provide tools to help make it a great conversation and experience.
