State Ambassadors

We are actively searching for volunteer ambassadors in the following states:

HI, LA, ME, ND, NE, NV, OK, RI, SD, WV

Do you want to contribute to the development of impactful bipartisan legislation? Our State Ambassadors have the unique opportunity to be a leader of engagement, giving a voice to members of their state in the halls of Congress.

Our state Ambassadors have the opportunity to contribute in two meaningful ways.

  • Engaging Congress – Working closely with CSA staff, Ambassadors have the chance to schedule, conduct, and even lead congressional briefings on our issue brief results. This allows Ambassadors to have their voice heard and influence change at the highest level of politics.
  • Engaging Members – Ambassadors are vital to the continuation of CSA’s mission as they help grow CSA’s membership base. They bridge the gap between members and Congress, enabling members to participate in congressional briefings and further support CSA’s mission.

Ambassadors’ basic responsibilities include: participation in meetings and training sessions, scheduling and conducting congressional briefings in conjunction with CSA staff, completing short online reports after each briefing, and giving feedback to help improve the ambassador program.

Being an ambassador is flexible: State ambassadors are only expected to average about 2 hours per week. The position is highly flexible, part-time, and has adjustable hours that can adapt to an Ambassador’s busy schedule.
