State Ambassadors

We are actively searching for volunteer ambassadors in the following states:

HI, LA, ME, NE, NV, OK, RI, SD, WV

HI – Hawaii has a small but growing group of 201 members. As a Hawaii state ambassador you would be instrumental in CSA’s recruitment efforts in a state where we need to increase our representation.

LA – Louisiana has 1052 members. This state is the most recent to pass 1000 members and continues to grow. This growing community is strong but needs an ambassador to help make their voices heard in Congress.

ME – Maine has 670 members. In the past we have met with Senators Angus King and Susan Collins to discuss our Pell Grant policy brief and advocate for our members. This was a good start for our engagement in Maine, but an ambassador would help strengthen our connection to the state and its people.

NE – Nebraska has 582 members. The state has a unique political system, perhaps the most unique of all 50 states. Because of this, we are missing an important opportunity to engage with one of the country’s most nuanced state governments.

NV – Nevada has 793 members. An ambassador in Nevada would work to complete our Western region, improving CSA’s reach in the coast opposite to our Eastern headquarters.

OK – Oklahoma has 1611 members, making this our largest group unrepresented by an ambassador. Groups like this are an essential part of CSA’s mission, and an ambassador would amplify Oklahoma’s voice.

RI – Rhode Island has 251 members. Rhode Island naturally faces challenges in representation because of its small size. A Rhode Island state ambassador would ensure that even a small state’s voice can be large in the halls of government.

SD – South Dakota has 347 members. Despite a relatively small population, it is one of our most active membership bases in the country. A South Dakota ambassador would help harness this powerful collective to make progress in DC.

WV – West Virginia has 720 members. Being the closest state without one, finding a West Virginia ambassador is integral for CSA’s involvement in our own region.
