Weekly Update: We’re Less Than 100 Responses Away From Congressional Briefings!

We’re So Close to 1,000 Responses!

Throughout the past couple of weeks, we’ve had excellent meetings with key bipartisan offices in the Senate and shared some early results from our Immigration Policy Brief. However, we can’t wait to start broader congressional outreach on this issue. Time is of the essence because many offices feel that there is a narrow window to make use of growing momentum to pass something on immigration in this Congress.

To get congressional briefings starting soon, we need to hit 1,000 brief submissions as soon as possible! We’re less than 100 submissions away from that goal. Your completion of the immigration brief will help get us there.

Thanks to Jack Thomas for Three Years of Dedicated Service!

We are sad to say that our director of congressional engagement, Jack Thomas, will be moving on from his current role at NICD to start law school in the fall. We’re incredibly excited for him, but sad to see him leave our team at CommonSense American. Jack will continue to provide us with some guidance in his new role as Senior Policy Advisor.
